If you're still not convinced, then there's the reasons why I consider this Special Story a 'must read': Kei got another job (an interesting one *wink*), it's the start of his new secret career, so we learn why and how he gets it, something we don't know if we start Season 3 straight away.

There's also a very important sentimental moment on Kei's part... We vaguely hear about it towards the beginning of the main story ... but the moment is kind of spoiling because it's throwing like that, during a little flashback. It's quite disturbing that such an important statement is being said elsewhere than in the main thread ...
